AUSTRALIAN INTERSTATE SHIELD

10 -14th Sept 2025

This years event saw some wet and windy conditions were events had to be shifted as lawns were water logged and then we ended in sunny conditions for the last 2 days.

The standard of play was up on last years and Tasmania played really well to miss beating NSW by a hoop. As Tasmania is usually on the bottom of the ladder this caused great excitement all round.

NSW had 1 loss to QLD by 1 match. The final day saw WA play NSW at this stage WA hadn,t lost a game. Through out the day we were neck and neck with NSW equal on Matches, games and they were 1 game ahead until the last round.

Unfortunately WA lost by 1 match & 2 games to take Silver again for the fourth year to NSW, with QLD coming 3rd
