INTERSTATE SHIELD

4th -8th September 2024.

We went into the Interstate Shield knowing that NSW would be the one to beat.

WA played well over the 4 days to win each day and headed for the clash with NSW

who were also undefeated on the final day. The doubles started the day with even results and then it was game on. WA sneaked forward and NSW caught up. It came down to the final game of the day, if we won we would take Gold, unfortunately that was not to be. We were 20-20 games and NSW won on 8 hoops.

Gary Phipps was the stand out for WA with 19 wins out of 20 in his singles over the event.
