This inaugural event was well received by players of the South West.
We had 8 players in the singles knockout competition. The blocks were
named after the famous Macpherson Robertson who instigated the first
MacRobertson shield in 1925 between England and Australia,
The main block was Old Gold won by Ian Dumergue with Kim Reynolds runner-up
Snack block for 3rd & 4th was won by David Squires from Mick Wood.
Cherry Ripe was the plate won by Megan Reynolds from Robyn Dart
and Freddo Frog was for 7th & 8th won by Marcus McGavock from Judith Nicholls.
